H. R. Shah Mahila Arts and Commerce College, Navsari, organized an informative and insightful Cybersecurity Awareness Seminar for students and faculty members. The session focused on creating awareness about the growing challenges of cybercrime, online safety, cyber threats, and responsible digital practices.

The seminar featured Mr. Laykumar Patel, Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics Professional, and Mr. M. M. Shaikh, Police Sub-Inspector, Cyber Crime Police Station, Navsari, as the expert speakers. They shared valuable practical insights into cybercrime, digital security, cyber fraud prevention, and the precautions that individuals should adopt while using digital platforms.

Around 110 students, along with faculty members, actively participated in the session. The interactive nature of the programme helped students understand the importance of cybersecurity and encouraged them to adopt safer and more responsible digital habits.

The programme was organized under the guidance of I/c Principal Dr. Jignesh Parmar and Vice Principal Dr. Girish Vaghela. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Shweta P. Patel, Coordinator of the Programme and Cyber Security Cell of the College

The seminar concluded with a strong message that cybersecurity is not merely a technical concern but a shared responsibility of every digital citizen.
