Dakshin Gujarat Mahila Kelavani Mandal, Navsari, manage by H. R. Shah Mahila Arts and Commerce College, Navsari symbolizes my good wishes, ambitions and aspirations for the upliftment and prosperity of the young generations of this area who have been since long deprived of their legitimate right of getting higher education. 

I also would like to advise the young students that no achievement or success is possible in life without hard work. So, they should always strive very hard in pursuing their studies and acquire education not merely for getting certificates, degrees or jobs but for the sake of knowledge and learning alone.

My blessings and good wishes are always bestowed on them. 

Understanding this need of the time, Dakshin Gujarat Mahila Kelavani Mandal, Navsari, H. R. Shah Mahila Arts and Commerce College, Navsari   has gone a long way in promoting quality education through its various endeavors. It adds identity to an entity, The ultimate goal of education is not to be successful but to lead a contented life. 

In order to provide opportunities for higher education, H.R. Shah Mahila Arts and Commerce College is established and is recognized under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. We, at H.R. Shah Mahila Arts and Commerce College strongly believe in imparting the required knowledge, skill, technical know-how, experiential learning as well as internships in order to make our students employment-ready. In order to achieve the same, the college has entered into fruitful MoUs and has established linkages with the industry partners. I strongly believe that the values ingrained by the institute in the students go a long way in making them capable for future prospects as well.

I take this opportunity to acknowledge the relentless efforts of all the stakeholders, especially of the Managing Council, Dakshin Gujarat Mahila Kelvani Mandal, Navsari and my all staff members.

Education is the manifestation of love and my most cherished possession. Education drives away ignorance and through illumination it emboldens a man to a righteous thought and action. It empowers a woman and enlarges the horizon of her mind. It energizes a society and enables a man to earn his living with respect and praise. Hence my love for it.

In order to accomplish our vision and mission, we are prepared to take as much effort as possible for the betterment of academic scenario in India. We believe that education is an effective medium of social transformation. We get encouragement, looking at bright and successful careers of our thousands of students, which subsequently benefit the society. We feel proud that we are part of such an excellent institute, which is shaping modern India.

H. R. Shah Mahila Arts and Commerce College, Navsari  endowed with progressive futuristic outlook aims continual growth in the quality of all academic activities with a sense of commitment to fully meet the expectations of the students, parents and society at large.

Our college cares for the individual development of each and every student. We follow “mentor system” under which each class is put into the multi-pronged web of a teacher. We accord prime importance to the behavioral discipline, moral integrity and cognitive developments of our students. Departments of Youth Welfare, NSS,  NCC Physical Education, Career Guidance Cell, Readers Forum, Red Cross Society, Red Ribbon Club and Centre for Women Empowerment offer integrated services for the multi –facetted developments of our students. Our teachers strive to teach not only academic programmes but also life skills needed for students’ self development with highly resourceful faculty. I wish the best of fortune, peace and prosperity to all those who contribute to the noble task of spreading education and its manifest qualities, aims and objectives.
