An interactive session on Financial Literacy was successfully organized on July 21, 2025, at 8:30 AM through a joint initiative of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Department of Commerce and Accountancy, H. R. Shah Mahila Arts and Commerce College, Navsari.

The session was graced by Dr. Mitez Sheth (Director, FMS EduTech) as the chief guest and keynote speaker. Dr. Sheth has previously worked with prominent international financial institutions such as Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Amicorp Group. He is also the author of the Amazon #1 Bestseller, “Financial Literacy: Your Ultimate Guide to Financial Freedom”, and a recipient of the Bravery Award.

Dr. Sheth delivered an insightful talk covering topics such as financial planning, the difference between saving and investing, stock markets, mutual funds, cryptocurrency, risks in online finance, and how to systematically build a retirement corpus of one crore rupees through disciplined investment. A Stock Exchange Game was also conducted to enhance participants’ practical understanding of investment.

The session concluded with a Q&A segment, during which the students and staff members actively posed questions that were addressed in detail by the speaker.

Certificates were awarded to all the attendees.
